Welcome to Kintbury Tennis Club

Kintbury Tennis Club welcomes players of every standard. Whether you're just beginning or already playing at a high level, we have team play, club sessions and coaching to suit you.

We've got members from all over West Berkshire, not just in Kintbury. Members come from Hungerford, Newbury, Chilton Foliat, Inkpen, Hamstead Marshall, and even from outside the County to be part of our lovely club. We've got three tennis courts, two with County standard floodlights, and we've also got ambitious plans for improving our facilities to be even better.

We actively encourage beginners to get started and to get better, as well as just to have fun playing with their friends and family. Our regular Wednesday club sessions are open to everyone, and juniors have a reserved time from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Wednesdays, with adults having priority after 6.30pm. We reserve one court for absolute beginners, so there's never any reason to feel you're not good enough to join in. Outside of club nights, there are plenty of times when the courts are free for your use. You can download a pdf of our weekly calendar by clicking here. To see if the courts are free today, to book a court and to contact other members to play against, click here.

We cater for strong players too. We've got four men's teams, one ladies' team and two mixed teams, and our 'A' teams regularly come out on top of the league.

If you're just starting out then our coach is available to help you to improve. However, if your sole intention is to have fun playing with your kids there's plenty of court time at the weekend when you can turn up and play.

We also run several social events through the year, including family tennis days and quiz nights. And if you join before our Open Day at the start of the season, you're automatically entered into a draw for the chance to get some tickets at Wimbledon. So there's plenty of reasons to get out those rackets and join us. If you click this link, you can download our membership forms and get contact details for our secretary to answer any questions you might have.
