Calendar of events

Kintbury Tennis Club tries to arrange a number of fun social and fund-raising events throughout the year. Put these dates in your diary for 2010.

June 6th. Kintbury 5 mile fun run
Dave Wright is organising another 5 mile fun run through the village. Anyone wanting to take part or to volunteer as a marshall should contact Dave on 01488 657133

June 12th. Family fun day at KTC
One of our members, Jennie King, has kindly volunteered to run a family fun day on June 12th (see below for timings) at KTC. It will be open to all members and non-members so do come along with your friends and family and enjoy our new facilities.
Jennie will be accompanied by a coaching friend from the Basingstoke tennis centre, and will run a session for parents with children between 11am and 1pm, followed by an adults-only (Children 15yrs + welcome) from 1-3pm or 1-4pm depending on demand. In the early session, parents will be expected to accompany their children. This is a chance for you to play some mini tennis with your children.
Club members are welcome to bring any friends or family along to sample our new courts and for informal play and fun activities. Balls will be supplied but you will need to bring tennis racquets, and wear non-marking shoes. Liquid refreshments will be available, and you can bring your own lunch and make a day of it! Club officials will be on hand to discuss membership.

July 9th. Hog roast summer party
After the success of last year's hog roast, we are hoping to do another. Roxy, Rob and Nick are organising again and have managed to find a date that does not clash with weddings, summer holidays (well not their own anyway) or World Cup Finals. SO put the date in your diary and expect an evening of good food, friendly chat, lots of booze and - we hope - glorious summer weather. If it is as good as last year's it will be great fun.
