Free coaching sessions
Kintbury Tennis Club is offering people from the ages of 14-24 the chance to receive tennis coaching for free. There will be six sessions offered from mid March to end of April, and a further six from end of May to end of June. Anyone still in full time education or not in work can join the sessions for free, whereas anyone in work will have to pay a court fee of just £3. Coaching will be provided by top tennis professional, Greg Santoro-Fergusson, who has senior coaching qualifications from UK, USA and Italy, and has played Davies Cup tennis. "This is a fantastic opportunity for young people in Kintbury to receive top level coaching, and to learn tennis skills that will serve them for life," says KTC chair, Graeme Coulam. "Greg is a first rate coach, much in demand, and we are very lucky to have secured his services at Kintbury Tennis Club. In Olympic year, this is the perfect time to think about getting involved in sport, and Kintbury Tennis Club is doing all it can to encourage young people to get involved." Moreover anyone who attends at least five of the six sessions will also qualify for discounted club membership.
