Keeping our courts moss-free

Kintbury Tennis Club has a new rotary pressure washer system that will enable us to keep our courts moss free and clean on a regular basis thus maximizing grip. Furthermore it will save us an annual bill in the region of £1300 on outside contractors cleaning 3 courts. Without contractors doing the work the club now relies solely on members volunteering their time, ideally a two man job. Once accustomed to the equipment it is relatively straightforward and easy to use. The kit is made up of the following.

a) 400WH[1] Surfclean 400WH
b) Poseidon3-36[1] Poseidon 3-36 PE
c) Suction Hose with filter 3m

Hire our pressure washer for your club

Clubs that play in the NDLTA can hire this equipment from Kintbury for just £100.
The NDLTA is supporting this system, hoping that Kintbury's capital expense can ultimately benefit all clubs in the NDLTA.
We believe the best way to use this kit is to have a reservoir (dustbin or such like) supplied with water from the tap and then utilise the suction hose kit to draw the water to the machine. It can be done directly from a tap but unless the water pressure is really good the reservoir option is best.
